Royal Łazienki Park and Chopin Concert – Sunday Walk for expats in Warsaw, Saturday 3 June

“The Mysteries of the Royal Lazienki Park” – 3rd tour for foreigners in Warsaw

You must’ve seen the Royal Lazienki Park countless times but can you honestly say you know ALL there’s to know about it? If you think you do, can you tell me:

– where the name of the park (Łazienki – the Baths) comes from and who the owner of this beautiful park was…?

– why the open theatre is in the form of ruins…?

– where the king Stanisław August Poniatowski invited his ladies to and why did he need a residence away from the city…?

– where the President of Poland lives and why it is not the Presidential Palace…?

If you’d like to discover the answers to these and more questions about the Lazienki Park and meet some new friends, join our tour on Sunday!

Our walk will end at the Chopin’s monument just in time for the free piano concert by Japanese pianist Motoko Yoshikawa. There’s no “after party” in a bar included in the program this time, because I am out of town, but I am sure you’ll manage to organize a get-together by yourselves 🙂
